About Me

Denver, Colorado
Its about time I update my blog. I'm the type of person who insists on havng a good time. Almost to a fault. I enjoy quiet time with my husband and would really like a dog but realize we dont have time to take care of one. We love adventures. I love the thought of being finshed with a great big hike or bike or run. That feeling of accomplishment - of seeing a new place or the view from the top of one of the highest mountains in the state. I hate the thought of that first step or peddle. I love my husband and our families. I am so blessed. I'm terrified of losing my parents someday. My circle of friends grows larger and stronger every day and I cant fathom how lucky I am in this life.

Booked it!

I just booked a condo for me and wade, my parents, and my brothers and their families.

We are going to Keystone for Presidents' Day weekend (Feb 15th) and staying right smack dab in the middle of our favorite ski resort. I cannot wait!

This is where we are staying:

I usually get hit really hard by the post holiday season blues so it will be so nice to have everyone out to visit us so soon after the holidays!

I don't believe I've ever blogged about them, but we have newish neighbors who recently moved here from Germany (okay so it's been 8 months). Andy and Heike are the best and as soon as I think of it I'm going to get a few candids of them and post for you all.

Anyway, Andy just recommended this book to me and wade and we are pretty excited to check it out. We will each attempt to cover all the questions in the 2oo something page "All about me" journal and then exchange our books for the other to read. Andy has assured us the questions are at times hard to answer but that the results are a complete eye opener for each partner as far as hopes, dreams, expectations, and goals go. Has anyone seen this or read these questions before?
